“Shepard is a huge softy when it comes to animals. S/he even had plans on opening an animal shelter after s/he retired from the military. The shelter wouldn’t just be for human pets like cats and dog, but for alien ones too. Even varren. S/he eventually changes his/her mind after the mass number of fish deaths caused by his/her neglect and decides a large donation to a struggling shelter would be better.”
